Short Break

I am leaving tomorrow (yes, Christmas day) for Duluth and my grandparents. We're staying there about a week, and then we've rented a cabin in Balsam Lake to celebrate New Year's.

After, that, however...

The Primaries start! I will try to keep you updated about them.

Also, I got two great books for Christmas: The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief, and Blacklisted by History: The Untold story of Joe McCarthy. For those of you who don't know, Joe McCarthy was a senator from Wisconsin and a liberal synonymn for "Republican" or "Moral, good, person with sense"--although that's not what THEY think it means. Perhaps you've heard a cornered liberal scream "McCarthyism!" "McCarthyite!" It's rather sickening. But we'll see what the book concludes. I plan to review them for the blog after I get back.

Well, MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
